Chunky Monkey - An Indelicate Topic

Rudy has had some health problems since the beginning of summer and one of his problems has been constant diarrhea. For many weeks we have had more conversations about Rudy's elimination than we ever had with two children of our own. He has suffered from very loose stools and over the last few months has been treated with Immodium, a diet of only rice and tuna, a prescription anti-diarrhea medicine, and two different kinds of prescription dog food to try to correct the problem. We are finally making progress. As Ken and I report back to one another, we have described Rudy's movements as a continuum of water, mustard, baby poop, pudding, loose, almost regular and finally "Chunky Monkey." We are so glad to see most of his stools now in the Chunky Monkey category. It is a giant step toward Rudy's return to good health.
