When Emme comes upstairs with me, she plays for a while in my sewing room. Then she lies down to nap. Sometimes she chooses to lie in my sewing room, often right under my sewing machine. Other times she crawls under my desk and naps under the file drawers that are raised up about six inches above the floor. Other times, she goes out into the hall and lies down by the top of the stairs. Being a companion dog is such hard work!
